Who says you’ve gotta head all the way down to New Orleans to enjoy the best of the bayou? If you find yourself in Dallas with a hankerin’ for a po-boy or some etouffee, Nola Brasserie has got you covered!
Tucked into the Westin Dallas Downtown hotel, this bar and restaurant feels a bit upscale and yet we felt welcome in our t-shirts and sundresses. As soon as you walk in, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to good ol’ Loo-zee-anna, with a live band playing loud, festive music and a neon purple Abita beer sign hanging on the wall.
The fried green tomatoes are a must to start, and the shrimp po-boy and the BBQ shrimp and grits were absolutely delish. With so many down-home favorites to choose from, you really can’t go wrong!
