Malibu’s Best Beach
Living in Los Angeles means we have more than our fair share of beaches to choose from. But the best part is that almost every single one them is totally different from the next. One of my top go-to’s whenever I have out-of-towners visiting, is Leo Carillo.
Why do I like it so much you ask? Well, if you time it right, there are tide pools that form during low tide which are home to sea anemones, star fish, crabs, sea snails, fish, sea weed and more. You never know what you’re going to find!
In addition, there are caves along the shorelines, it’s great for surfing (just watch out for all the rocks), and there are camp grounds – if that’s your thing. Basically there’s a ton of stuff to do so it’s not “just” a day laying out on the beach, but it totally can be if that’s what you’re looking for.
