I went to Montreal, Canada for my younger sister’s bachelorette.
The rest of the party drove from Massachusetts, while I flew in from California. I took a red eye flight so I arrived first thing in the morning – before they even left for their road trip, so I decided to walk around the city and do some sight seeing since I knew I’d either be 1.) too busy drinking to be able to just walk around and take in the sights or 2.) too hung over to enjoy just walking around and take in the sights. Which I was right.
While walking around, I absolutely feel in love with the architecture. Between the cute cobble stone streets to the Notre-Dame Basilica, to the Capital building, it was all just beautiful. And I was easily able to walk from one place to the next, so it’s all relatively close to each other.
During the following 3 days, we went to multiple restaurants that were fantastic (the filet mignon at Le Richmond is absolutely ah-mazing!), we visited tons of fun, energetic bars, and even went to a strip club that was jam-packed with hot guys (if this is your thing, you HAVE to go to 281 – just sayin’). I enjoyed my trip more than I ever thought I would and I would love to go back when I have more time to do “typical” touristy things.
